I would like to hear from anyone using Windchill to store and or release their CNC files.
- What you are using to push the CNC file to the machines?
- Did you create an API or use an existing one?

dear All,
please advise and share... is there any one here using Pro Engineer for 3D Mold Design, i mean full complete mold design such as :
1. Spliting core-cavity-slide
2. Mold Base and standard/custom component Parts Lay out
3. Create Bill of Material
4. Mold Drawing properties and Detail drawing or Mold Production.

Thankyou PTC, for removing one of the best features in your manufacturing option.
I can see you 'tried' to replace it with cutline milling, but whilst the end result may be the same in terms of NC code, the command interface is seriously slow, clunky and has brought my workstation to it's knee's on the multiple attempts using it.
Creo 2 (M020) now uninstalled and back to Creo 1, I will not renew maintainace contract unless this improves or goes back to how it was, there's no point if the newer versions aren't any better !?
Just don't understand why you (PTC) have to fiddle with features that work REALLY well, and keep your existing user-base from straying to other software, of which some are now much better and cheaper to license
Thankyou again
Paul
Folks,
I'd like to change the lead-in radius when rough-milling. The cutter chatters because the radius is too small so I'd like to increase it. I've looked all over the place and cannot find any way to change it. Does any one know how to do this? BTW I'm on Creo 2, M100.

Is anyone programming one of these in Creo Manufacture? If so who did your post? Are you using simulation software?
Thanks in advance.........
Hey guys,
I just got a new box and I connot get autoaxis to work on my new computer, there are other guys i work with that have windows xp and 32 bit computers that autoaxis still works on there boxes, but im the only one with a 64 bit. Is anyone running autoaxis with windows 7 and a 64 bit computer?
Thanks

I'm in the process of developing a thread milling process but I am not getting the correct tool path. I need a single pass tool path but I'm not able to find the right parameter combination to get single pass. I using a solid tool defined in Creo to simulate a multi-tooth cutter.
I'm new to pro/E and Creo. I am having trouble with the expert machinist output to G-Code. My Machine tool does not like the format of the post processor. I have the basic 2 ½ D CAM that comes with Creo. The post outputs the tool path in as follows: N0012X00035Y0015F01. My machine tool interprets this as X=35 and Y=15. It should be X=0.35 and Y=1.5. In addition, can I adjust how the line numbers are generated? I would like to start at N0010 and increment by tens. I cannot find in the documentation how to change these formatting issues. I have tried using the NC Post Process under the Applications menu, but I’m not sure what It is actually doing. There is only the one default profile UNCX01 under the machine setup. And the list file says its using the UNCX01.p00 file (This file does not exist on my Hard drive.) So I’m at a loss. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
I'm wondering if there is a better way to create a datum that is centered between two parallel surfaces. I currently measure the distance between the two surfaces then creating a offset datum plane that is the measured distance/2. This however presents a problem if the measured value changes, the created plane is no longer centered. Any ideas on how to better accomplish this?
We just upgraded from WF4 to Creo 2 and Volume milling doesn't have the new interface that the other toolpaths do. Is PTC phasing out Volume Milling?
If so, I use the rough and profile option a lot when roughing so that the operator can adjust the amount of stock left on the walls using cutter comp. Is there another way to do this using another sequence?
Hi,
Can anyone help me in creating parting line for the attached component.
I could not able to do so.
Thanks in Advance

I am looking for people who have personal experience with a company that has done this for them.
I know about ICAM, PostHaste and Gpost(Internal)
Any other options that are really good?

What is corner_offset in local milling? help document doesn't explain clearly.
Hello
Does anyone have a Expert Moldbase Extension Tutorial that they can share?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
